About V50 Android OS firmware upgrade

Note: If the projector can be turned on normally, please use the online upgrade. Do not update the firmware with a USB flash drive. If you encounter problems, please restore the factory settings first. If you must update the firmware, please contact customer service and provide the serial number of the projector and Android to the customer service. The system version, because the electronic components of the projector motherboards produced in different batches have changed, and different firmwares correspond to different motherboards. If the wrong firmware is used, the projector will not be able to boot. Please proceed with caution.

If there is a problem with the projector’s Android firmware and it cannot be upgraded online, You can upgrade through USB flash drive

Operation guidance:

1. Click the icon below to download the android OS firmware and unzip it. 
2. Unzip the firmware to the root directory of the U disk. (Note: Do not put it in other folders. The format of USB flash disk must be FAT32)
3. Then insert the U disk into the USB interface of the projector, 

d.Then connect the power cord of the projector, Turn ON the power switch on the back of the projector, press and hold the power button to upgrade, the projector will automatically upgrade. 

1. Wait for the projector to automatically shut down, and then load all the APPs after it is automatically turned on, about 20 minutes. It can be used normally. 

Note: Do not disconnect the power to the projector when upgrading. Otherwise it will cause the projector to be abnormal and slow to start. Need to upgrade again.

About Vevshao V50 screen projection function

1. Wifi-display function, the projector displays the image and sound of the mobile phone screen through the mirroring function of the smartphone. This is not achieved using the Bluetooth function. It is achieved through the screen mirroring function that comes with the phone.

Note: Not all Android smartphones support the screen mirroring function. For smartphones that support screen mirroring, there are options similar to this in the “Settings” or “More Functions” options of the smartphone, for example: “Screen mirroing”, “Wifi-display”, “multi-screen”, “screen projection”, “play to”, “media output”, etc.

If the projector’s pre-installed screen mirroring app is not compatible with your Android smartphone, you can connect the Android phone and the projector to the same wifi, then enter the Eshare interface of the airplay option on the projector homepage, enter the IP address on the screen in the browser of the phone, download and install the Eshare APP, and screen mirroring via Eshare APP.

1-4-1. Connect your windows OS computer and projector IP address to the same network

1-4-2. Click the “Airplay” option on the projector homepage to enter the Eshare interface.

1-4-3. On the window OS computer, open this URL with a browser: http://cdn.sharemax.cn/app/EShareClient-STD.exe

download and install Eshare APP to the computer.

1-4-4. Click “EShareClient-STD” on the computer, and the name and IP address of the projector in the same network will appear, select it, and then click start to succeed

Tips：

Some video apps with copyright protection cannot support wireless projection from other devices to the projector. For example, Netflix, iTunes Movie, Google Movie, Amazon Prime do not support this function on some smartphone and computers. All Android system projectors on the market are the same.

1. After downloading, copy the input method APK installation package to the U disk.

3. Use the remote control to enter the projector’s file management and find the installation package on the U disk
4. Select the APK file, press OK, and install it according to the prompts.
5. In the “Settings” of the projector, find the position of the keyboard input method switch, and switch to the input method you installed. Different projectors switch in different positions.
6. Switch the keyboard input method to the input method “Leankey Keyboard” that was just installed, and you can test it. When entering text on other apps, a virtual keyboard will pop up, and you can switch languages in different countries by clicking the circular icon in the keyboard. .

1. To use the correct DLP shutter 3D glasses

About 3D

Read U disk through USB interface, play 3D video with MX player, support side by side, top and bottom shutter 3D video.

Among them, videos in H265 and AVS formats can support up to 4K/30HZ.

Other AVI, MP4 and other formats of video can support up to 1080p/60Hz, but do not support 4K.

HDMI interface can support Blu-ray DVD to play 3D, support Side by side, Top and bottom arranged 3D video

The 1080p version of youtube pre-installed on the projector does not support switching to 3D mode.

Turn off Dolby in the setting sound of Fire TV stick 4K.
       Step：”setting”—-“display&Sound”—“Audio”—“Dolby digital output”—“Dolby digital plus OFF”, Turn off Dolby，Do it a few times，Confirm whether Dolby is successfully turned off.
       Tips: Some sources can work normally without turning off Dolby and setting them to automatic mode. If there is still no sound in automatic mode, you must turn off Dolby.
