About U70 Pro Android system firmware upgrade

Note: If the projector can be turned on normally, please use the online upgrade. Do not update the firmware with a USB flash drive. If you encounter problems, please restore the factory settings first. If you must update the firmware, please contact customer service and provide the serial number of the projector and the Android system to the customer service. Version, because the electronic components of the projector motherboards produced in different batches have changed, and different firmware corresponds to different motherboards. If the wrong firmware is used, the projector will not be able to boot. Please proceed with caution.

If there is a problem with the projector’s Android firmware and it cannot be upgraded online, 

  1. you can click the icon below to download the firmware and unzip it. 
  2. Unzip the firmware to the root directory of the U disk. Note: Do not put it in other folders. 
  3. Then insert the U disk into the USB interface of the projector, 
  4. and then connect the power cord of the projector, 
  5. press and hold the power button to upgrade, the projector will automatically upgrade. 
  6. Wait for the projector to automatically shut down, and then load all the APPs after it is automatically turned on, about 20 minutes. It can be used normally. 

Note: Do not disconnect the power to the projector when upgrading. Otherwise it will cause the projector to be abnormal and slow to start. Need to upgrade again.

Note:

  1. The firmware version of the projector is a machine before June. After downloading the firmware, its name must be changed to “CUpgrade.bin” to be recognized by the projector.

 

  1. The firmware version of the projector is after August. After the firmware is downloaded, the firmware name is “KUpgrade_540.bin”.

 

  1. In “Settings”-“Device Information” you can see the projector’s firmware version information, such as K.25BY20210830en5, which means the firmware on August 30;

K.25BY20210630en5, which means the firmware on June 30.

Or you can copy the firmware to a USB flash drive, and then copy another one, one named “CUpgrade.bin” and one named “KUpgrade_540.bin”.

Different versions of U70 Pro use the same firmware, only the firmware name is changed,

After updating once, if you need to manually update the firmware in the future, use “KUpgrade_540.bin” to name the firmware.

Warning: before brushing the firmware, please send the serial number at the bottom of the projector to the sales customer service to confirm the specific firmware version. Brushing the wrong firmware will cause the projector to directly break down and the user cannot repair it.

Arabic Patch Pack Download

Install this APK to add Arabic patches

Arabic system language adding steps:

  1. Download this APK patch package and copy it to a U disk.
  2. Then insert the USB flash drive into the projector.
  3. Find and open and install the APK in the file manager, then the projector will have an Arabic language.

Tips: With the development of science and technology, in the current Bluetooth function, it is no longer used for Bluetooth to transfer files. The role of Bluetooth is only to transmit sound. The Bluetooth file transfer function has been replaced by APP.

Wifi, Bluetooth, wifi-display (airplay, Miracast, DLNA) are all different functions. The effects are different.

 

Many buyers often misunderstand the function of Bluetooth. For example: the following 3 types are different functions.

 

  Wifi-display function, the projector displays the image and sound of the mobile phone screen through the mirroring function of the smartphone. This is not achieved using the Bluetooth function. It is achieved through the screen mirroring function that comes with the phone.

Note: Not all Android smartphones support the screen mirroring function. For smartphones that support screen mirroring, there are options similar to this in the “Settings” or “More Functions” options of the smartphone, for example: “Screen mirroing”, “Wifi-display”, “multi-screen”, “screen projection”, “play to”, “media output”, etc.

If the projector’s pre-installed screen mirroring app is not compatible with your Android smartphone, you can connect the Android phone and the projector to the same wifi, then enter the Eshare interface of the airplay option on the projector homepage, enter the IP address on the screen in the browser of the phone, download and install the Eshare APP, and screen mirroring via Eshare APP.

4.2. Click the “Airplay” option on the projector homepage to enter the Eshare interface.

4.4. Click “EShareClient-STD” on the computer, and the name and IP address of the projector in the same network will appear, select it, and then click start to succeed

Tips：

Some video apps with copyright protection cannot support wireless projection from other devices to the projector. For example, Netflix, iTunes Movie, Google Movie, Amazon Prime do not support this function on some smartphone and computers. All Android system projectors on the market are the same.

About 3D

Read U disk through USB interface, play 3D video with MX player, support side by side, top and bottom shutter 3D video.

Among them, videos in H265 and AVS formats can support up to 4K/30HZ.

Other AVI, MP4 and other formats of video can support up to 1080p/60Hz, but do not support 4K.

HDMI interface can support Blu-ray DVD to play 3D, support Side by side, Top and bottom arranged 3D video

The 1080p version of youtube pre-installed on the projector does not support switching to 3D mode.

If the APP arrives when it is really unusable, we will update the APP together when updating the version of the Android system by optimizing on the Google server.
