It can also be upgraded via U disk

Operation method 1：

  1. You can click the icon below to download the firmwareof K45 Android. Unzip files, Do not change the name of the file, otherwise the projector will not recognize it.
  2. Copy the firmware to the root directory of the U disk. Note: Do not put it in other folders. 
  3. Turn on the projector and let the projector work normally.
  4. Insert the U disk into the USB 1 port of the projector
  5. Enter the file management, find the files in the U disk, and check whether the firmware has been copied to the U disk.
  6. Operating the projector, enter “Settings” – “System Upgrade” – “Local Upgrade” in turn, Follow the prompts to upgrade
  7. Wait for the projector to upgrade, do not power off or terminate the projector upgrade in the middle, otherwise the projector will not work.

Note: the upgrade process must not be interrupted.

Operation method 2：（For users who cannot upgrade with the first method.）

  1. You can click the icon below to download the firmwareof K45 Android. Unzip files, the name of the firmware is “YG_6M021.bin”. Do not change the name of the file, otherwise the projector will not recognize it.
  2. Copy the firmware to the root directory of the U disk. Note: Do not put it in other folders. 
  3. Insert the U disk into the second USB port of the projector
  4. Connect the projector to the power supply, turn on the power switch, and wait for a few seconds
  5. Then long press the power button until the upgrade progress bar appears on the screen, and release the button.
  6. Wait for the projector to upgrade, do not power off or terminate the projector upgrade in the middle, otherwise the projector will not work.

Note: the upgrade process must not be interrupted.

With the development of science and technology, in the current Bluetooth function, it is no longer used for Bluetooth to transfer files. The role of Bluetooth is only to transmit sound. The Bluetooth file transfer function has been replaced by APP.

Wifi, Bluetooth, wifi-display (airplay, Miracast, DLNA) are all different functions. The effects are different.

 

   wifi-display function, the projector displays the image and sound of the mobile phone screen through the mirroring function of the smartphone. This is not achieved using the Bluetooth function. It is achieved through the screen mirroring function that comes with the phone.

Note: Not all Android smartphones support the screen mirroring function. For smartphones that support screen mirroring, there are options similar to this in the “Settings” or “More Functions” options of the smartphone, for example: “Screen mirroing”, “Wifi-display”, “multi-screen”, “screen projection”, “play to”, “media output”, etc.

If the projector’s pre-installed screen mirroring app is not compatible with your Android smartphone, you can also download and install Airscreen, happycast and other apps that support wifi-display on the projector.

Tips：

Some video apps with copyright protection cannot support wireless projection from other devices to the projector. For example, Netflix, iTunes Movie, Google Movie, Amazon Prime do not support this function on some smartphone and computers. All Android system projectors on the market are the same.

Turn off Dolby in the setting sound of Fire TV stick 4K.

         Step：”setting”—-“display&Sound”—“Audio”—“Dolby digital output”—“Dolby digital plus OFF”, Turn off Dolby，Do it a few times，Confirm whether Dolby is successfully turned off.

         Tips: Some sources can work normally without turning off Dolby and setting them to automatic mode. If there is still no sound in automatic mode, you must turn off Dolby.

K45 Series Projector Maintenance Guide

  1. How to solve the problem of remote control not working?

1.1 The projector comes standard with a 2.4G wireless remote control. If the remote control does not work, you need to re-operate the remote control to pair with the projector.

The operation method is to take out the battery of the remote control, start the projector, wait for the projector to turn on, then move the remote control close to the projector, and then install the battery of the remote control, and the remote control will re-pair with the projector.

1.2 One remote control can only correspond to one projector, and cannot be used for two K45s at the same time.

1.3 If the pairing is unsuccessful, replace a remote control and try again.

1.4 If the replacement of the remote control still fails, it may be that the cable between the remote control receiver and the motherboard is loose. Reconnect the cable between the receiver and the motherboard.

1.5 If there is still a problem, there may be a problem with the remote control receiving circuit board or the main board. Just replace the corresponding parts. There is a disassembly video guide below.

Fault phenomenon: After the projector presses the power button, you can hear that the fan inside the projector is working normally, but there is no light coming out of the lens at all, maybe the LED is not working.

First, disassemble the projector to check whether the cables on the power board are connected properly. If the cables on the power board are connected normally and there is no looseness, the projector still does not work, and a new power board needs to be replaced. If it is still not normal, you need to replace the LED. If the lens still has no light after replacing the LED, you need to replace the motherboard.

Usually replace the power board projector is normal. LED damage is generally caused by high voltage breakdown of the projector’s LED due to lightning strikes or unstable household power grids.

Disassemble the projector, use the mobile phone to shoot the text on the LCD cable for your after-sales customer service, the customer service will send it to you according to the corresponding LCD arrangement, and the projector system firmware used for different LCDs is different. If a different LCD is replaced, it will cause the projected image to display abnormally. At this time, the customer service needs to send you the system firmware corresponding to the LCD you received, copy the program to the U disk and directory, and insert it into the USB of the projector. Then connect the projector to the power supply, wait for a few seconds, then press and hold the power button for 10 seconds, then release the button, let the projector update the program automatically, wait for 10 minutes, if the projector has an image, it means it is normal.
